We have a range of services available to corporate clients, small businesses and individuals, and also offer treatments for all musculoskeletal injuries and disorders by appointment at our London clinic. We help people who are stressed or overwhelmed to re-discover balance in their bodies, and build on their natural resilience for healing.
Integrative Bodywork is body-centered, "whole-person" therapy, working in relationship to elicit a healing response, not just applying a formula or technique.
Our Integrative rehabilitation services include:
- Traditional Physiotherapy methods
- Acupuncture for pain relief
- Bowen Therapy - A non-invasive treatment that addresses key points on the body to stimulate energy flow, the treatment involves a gentle, rolling motion with very light touch working on the soft tissue to encourage realignment. The movements can be applied directly to the skin or through light clothing. It is very helpful for chronic conditions including sciatica, RSI, frozen shoulder and sports injuries.
- Trigger Point Body Work - Also called myofascial trigger point therapy, that involves the applying of pressure to tender muscle tissue in order to relieve pain and dysfunction in other parts of the body. Sometimes massage and trigger point therapy are performed together, using aromatherapy oils to help reduce stress and tension.
- Deep Tissue Body Work - Focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibers of the muscles, tendons and fascia. Helps to break up and eliminate scar tissue.
- Cranio-sacral Therapy - A very gentle therapy that improves physical, mental and emotional health by freeing restrictions of movement in the craniosacral bones and cerebrospinal fluid. Light, direct finger pressures are used to relax the target areas by gently working with the spine, skull and its cranial sutures, diaphragms, and fascia. The restrictions of nerve passages are said to be eased, the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spinal cord can be optimised, and misaligned bones are said to be restored to their proper position. Craniosacral therapy is effective treating mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ syndrome, and for chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia.
